About Mark D. Persun, Esquire
Attorney Persun was born on a family farm in Cogan House Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. In 1974, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Pennsylvania State University with a B. S. in Political Science.
In 1977, Attorney Persun graduated from the Dickinson School of Law and was admitted to practice law before The Pennsylvania Supreme Court the same year.
For six years he worked in oil and gas exploration, land department, for Amoco Production Company.
Attorney Persun opened a sole practice of law in 1984, at his current address: 158 East Main Street, Somerset, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, 15501.
Although his practice of law is general in nature, it does feature some very specific aspects as well.
As it relates to land, he performs real estate title examination for windpower, oil and gas exploration and coal extraction companies, and the need for associated rights-of-way.
Clients are comprised of local Somerset County families and also International Companies interested in Pennsylvania.
Attorney Persun and his wife, Ann Brubaker Persun, have been married since 1984.
